This species falls into the group known as The Tree Pincushions

  • It grows into a large, rounded tree, 3 - 5 m tall, 3 - 6 m across.
  • Flowers are a bright, stunning yellow & flowering occurs from August to December
  • Grows in granite and sandstone soils on dry, rocky slopes.
  • Seeds should be sown in autumn
  • This species is suitable for growing in pots.
  • The flowers are beautiful as cut flowers and last very well.
  • This plant will attract birds to your garden.
  • Hardy to USDA zone 9.
