Due to the lock down conditions around the world and here in South Africa, our postage service has been interrupted.

Local Orders:

We are now in Level 3 Lockdown - we can post local orders via SA Post Office & via Postnet, either from Postnet to Postnet or from Postnet to your door.

International Orders:

Posting systems for international orders are once again functioning. Orders placed after the 27 Mar 2020 were finally collected by the couriers on Friday 05 June 2020.

Provided your countries are receiving orders, you should, under normal circumstances, receive your order within 5-6 weeks. There are, however, delays happening currently, probably due to Covid 19 protocols, and many orders are taking 9-10 weeks to arrive. We thank you for your patience.

We hope you and your families are safe and healthy where ever you are in the world.

A Phytosanitary Certificate - Country Seed Import Requirements

The phytosanitary certificate is required by some countries, regardless of quantity ordered or method of posting.  Also, if you use a courier, a phytosanitary certificate is mandatory.

This certifies that the seeds were examined and shown to be free of fungal diseases & insects.

To check if your country has any requirements, go to the FAQ.

Most customers with small orders take a chance without this certificate, the price is only worth it for a large order where you stand to lose more if the seeds get stopped.  Also, hobby-quantities of seed tend to pass through the system unnoticed.

The cost of this certificate merely covers our expenses in getting it from the South African department of agriculture, and the presence or lack thereof has no bearing on the high quality of the seeds we supply.
